I’ve invested 85% of my life so far in nonstop learning, dotted with experiences at nonprofits and institutions of higher education. I've spent the past 5 years applying my Ph.D. as a professor and speech and debate coach: I dove deeply into my craft to create courses in strategic communication, media studies, writing and speaking; coached speech competitors to multiple national championships; and got to collaborate with some incredible colleagues here in Indianapolis and across the nation. I loved my time in higher education and, fittingly, learned a lot!

I'm also a performance poet, powerlifter, and plant daddy.
